A 12-acre parcel of land in East Hampton, which the town has been interested in buying, is headed to the auction block, 27east reported. The East Hampton Town Board last month gave land management director Scott Wilson permission to bid up to $3 million for the property on Pantigo Road, according to the outlet. The minimum bid at the auction, which Town & Country Real Estate is overseeing, will be $2.5 million. Listing agent Gene Stilwell told the outlet the winning bidder would be able to “create one massive estate or subdivide the 12-acre property.” [27east]
