New Rochelle home featured in “The Manchurian Candidate” sells

A New Rochelle home that served as a filming location for “The Manchurian Candidate” and “All My Children” has sold for $3.4 million — marking the highest sale in the city since 2007, Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty said in a release. The approximately 8,000-square-foot home on Sheldrake Lane known as “Four Chimneys” sits on 1.55 acres and has seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half-baths. Amenities include an infinity pool and a basketball court. Architecture firm McKim Meade & White built the home in 1938, but it has since been renovated. Gay Rosen of the firm’s Larchmont brokerage represented the unidentified seller; it wasn’t immediately clear who the buyer was.
