Blackstone portfolio company BioMed Realty is getting a $905,373 sales tax exemption for a $38 million renovation project in Greenburgh, the Westchester County Business Journal reported. The county’s Industrial Development Agency approved the tax exemption for the project at Ardsley Park life sciences campus, which is home to tenants including Acorda Therapeutics. BioMed plans to renovate 97,000 square feet of vacant space at the campus as part of a plan “to provide ready-to-occupy lab and office spaces” for smaller tenants, according to the outlet. Work is expected to begin at the beginning of next year. [WBJ]
