A Greenwich estate that was once home to actor and director Mel Gibson has sold at a loss of more than $10 million, Mansion Global reported. Private equity executive Richard Lichter purchased Old Mill Farm for around $24 million back in 2010, and tried to part with it several times over the years before it finally sold for $13.25 million this past December, according to the outlet. The Elizabethan-inspired mansion is just one of a number of pricey homes in Greenwich that have taken significant price chops over the past few years. [Mansion Global]
