AvalonBay sells Fairfield County luxury apartments to Pa. company

AvalonBay Communities is parting ways with a luxury apartment complex in Shelton, the Fairfield County Business Journal reported. The real estate investment trust sold the complex, known as Avalon Shelton, to Pennsylvania-based Merion Realty Partners for an undisclosed price. CBRE represented both AvalonBay and Merion Realty Partners in the deal. Two years ago, AvalonBay sold another apartment complex in Shelton to Inland Real Estate Acquisitions Inc. for $33 million, according to the outlet. [FBJ]
