A developer is one step closer to being able to build an affordable housing complex in Southampton. Concern for Independent Living executive director Ralph Fasano secured the Southampton Town Board’s approval to file an application for a 60-unit complex behind the Southampton Full Gospel Church, 27east reported. The development would include 36 one-bedroom apartments and 24 two-bedroom apartments, 15 of which would be reserved for U.S. armed services veterans and the rest of which would be reserved for people with disabilities and those in the workforce. The project will still need to be approved after Fasano files the application. [27east]
