An East Hampton cottage that comes with a historic houseboat is on the market for $2.45 million, Behind The Hedges reported. The two-bedroom home sits on the waterfront along Three Mile Harbor and has “majestic harbor views from the open kitchen and living spaces,” according to a Sotheby’s International Realty listing. The property comes with a once-functional houseboat called “Sunshine” that was owned by Jud Banister, who served as mayor of East Hampton Village between 1936 and 1954. Sotheby’s Jenny Landey, Zacheriah Dayton and Ethan Dayton have the listing. [BTH]
