Airbnb hosts across New Jersey brought in a total of $175 million last year, Jersey Digs reported, citing data released by the short-term rental company. Hosts in Hudson County brought in the most money “by a wide margin,” with 420,300 Airbnb guests and a total of $75 million in revenue, according to the outlet. Cape May had the second-highest revenue, with 178,900 guests and $33.9 million in revenue. The outlet notes this year could see a dip in Hudson County revenue following the passage of an ordinance that placed restrictions on short-term rentals in Jersey City. [Jersey Digs]
