A “castle” in Ossining that was once owned by Abercrombie & Fitch co-founder David T. Abercrombie is on the market for $3.5 million, LoHud reported. Abercrombie built the home, which “resembled a Scottish castle,” back in 1927. His widow sold it after he passed away in 1931, according to the outlet. As it stands now, the estate known as Elda is vacant and fairly derelict, but listing agent Christina DiMinno, of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty, describes it as a “slice of heaven.” [LoHud]
