A four-story apartment building could replace the Family YMCA in Tarrytown, the Westchester County Business Journal reported. Chappaqua-based Wilder Balter Partners hopes to raze the YMCA building and construct a 109-unit development in its place, according to the outlet. The project would include 15 studio apartments and 94 one-bedroom apartments; the YMCA plans to sell the building and move to a new location. “Rents will be 40 percent to 80 percent AMI, which is a very good mix of incomes and much needed in this community,” attorney Mark Weingarten, who presented the proposal to the Tarrytown Planning Board, said.
