A 6.5-acre Connecticut spread once owned by entertainers Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas is on the market for $28 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The estate overlooks Long Island Sound from an exclusive mansion-lined stretch in the town of Westport and has 400 feet of frontage on the Sound. Donahue and Thomas built a 10,000-square-foot shingle-style home there in 2007.
The home is designed with entertaining in mind and even has a room for party preparations. The grounds also include a tennis court and a standalone gym. Donahue and Thomas sold the property to the current owners in 2013 for $20 million. [WSJ] — Dennis Lynch
