Bridgehampton estate’s $72M ask tops East End listings

A nearly three-acre estate in Bridgehampton has hit the market for $72 million, according to Mansion Global. That makes it the most expensive public listing in the Hamptons.

There’s word that Ron Perelman is privately shopping his 57-acre East Hampton estate for $180 million, while a Southampton estate is being offered at $145 million, but neither is listed publicly.

The Bridgehampton property, at 271 Dune Road, has an 8,000-square-foot main home with permits to add another 6,000 square feet, should the next owner feel cramped. The property has 275 feet of beach frontage and overlooks Mecox Bay.

The seller is a Wall Street investor who built the house after purchasing the property in the mid-1990s for just over $1 million. [Mansion Global] — Dennis Lynch
