Early in October, BSH and TRD brought the NYC real estate community together for an evening of networking and brainstorming about one of RE’s hottest topics. The event, hosted at the stately BSH Experience and Design Center in Manhattan, gave VIPs a chance to hear a trio of office-to-resi experts speak about their experience turning historic buildings into luxury rentals and condos in a city where demand for housing has never been greater.

For developer Roy Stillman and his partners Steve Silverman and Leon Silvera, buildings aren’t just businesses and homes, they are works of art. “A real estate development project is a large sculpture,” Stillman told us from The Centurion, the Midtown West condo his firm, Stillman Development International LLC, developed with legendary architect I.M. Pei and his son, Sandi Pei. Stillman took A New York Minute with Christie’s and The Real Deal to highlight The Atlantic Club, the firm’s most recent project that embodies their refined aesthetic. The Atlantic Club is an iconic project set for completion in spring 2026 in Long Branch, New Jersey.  Inspired by its majestic beachfront setting, The Club is a true oasis offering a limited collection of 132 one-to-five-bedroom residences, many with unobstructed ocean views. Owners will have access to among the most comprehensive indoor and outdoor social and wellness amenity collections on the Jersey Shore. The Real Deal recently caught up with Orlando Rodriguez, Director at Whitehall Interiors, to discuss the firm’s work on The Rockwell’s modern kitchens. Whitehall tapped BSH to help with the appliances at The Rockwell, and the line of Thermador products that BSH’s builder team selected made these kitchens a chef’s dream. In fact, Rodriguez, who is an avid cook, expressed his desire for residents to enjoy cooking as much as he does. He mentioned, “We like providing these capabilities.”
