It's game over for Manhattan casinos. Soloviev Group's bid to build the $11 billion Freedom Plaza casino complex on a vacant lot near the United Nations building was rejected earlier this week — the third Manhattan casino bid to be scrapped in a week, following SL Green's Times Square pitch and Silverstein Properties' Midtown proposal.
