Gad Elmaleh, a comedian dubbed the “Jerry Seinfeld of France,” paid $7 million for an apartment, though it’s unclear whether the French version of Kramer lives across the hall.

The Moroccan-born stand-up acquired a condominium unit at 124 Hudson Street in Tribeca, according to property records filed Tuesday. The sellers, Nadia and Karim Zahmoul, bought the apartment in 2002 for an undisclosed price.
