One Brooklyn Bridge Park gets literary resident

Former literary agent Nina Lorez Collins has purchased a four-bedroom condominium with private terrace at One Brooklyn Bridge Park for $3.51 million, the New York Observer reported based on public records.

This news comes after the sale of another unit in the former Jehovah’s Witnesses printing plant-turned-condo, which went for $3 million — 13 percent below the asking price.

Collins paid more than the $3.08 million asking price from the summer 2010 listing, the Observer wrote. The unit is a duplex with three bathrooms that spans 3,482 square feet — just about half the square foot measurement of Collins’ old 212 Columbia Heights home, which sold for a record $11 million.

Collins is currently working on her memoir. [NYO]
