When Compass agent Andres Larin decided to redesign his website Brickell.com, his brokerage decided more than just a celebratory pat on the back was in order.

Compass brought out roughly 100 realtors and taste makers to the Brickell City Centre sales gallery last week for a night of networking.

Personal blogs and listing sites are nothing new in the real estate game. But Larin hopes bringing on some editorial firepower from Liana Lozada, a former USA Today contributor, will help punch up the website’s lifestyle section.

The night was capped off by presentations from Equinox and Soulcycle, two popular fitness brands, and a speech from Larin on how Brickell is transforming. —Sean Stewart-Muniz
