February 07, 2013 10:30AM

New York Yankees superstars Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez have both expressed interest in a $9 million apartment at 111 Central Park North, the New York Post reported.

Listed by Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group, the 5,400-square-foot six-bedroom, 6.5 bathroom condo occupies the entire 17th floor of the building. It offers sweeping views of the park, 100 feet of terrace space and a paparazzi-proof parking garage. Other amenities include an entertaining space and a six-burner stove.

The Post said that the apartment is owned by developer Rodney Propp, who bought and designed it in 2007. According to Streeteasy, the apartment sold for $9.95 million in December 2012, having been listed by Corcoran’s Daniel Douglas and Eileen LaMorte at $11 million in May and then relisted at the lower price in October. These guys need a rrealtor who can help them invest their money. they are simply getting ripped off!!! Hope they are not that stupid to buy an apartment in Harlem for $11 mill. This bubble is going to bust and soon!! Just wait and see. Manhattan has become unaffordable and the rich is not going to put out their garbage. Last year on the low estimate side NY lost more than 6,000 residents to other states where they can get more for their money and a better quality of life. Keep it up NY you are going to self destruct if you don’t take time to see what is really going on!!!
Furthermore most of those brokers selling NY don’t live in NY they live where you can geet your money’s worth. The live in Westcherster Long Island NJ and places where when you spend $3,600 per month you have more than one toilet and a bed room that is bigger than 10 X 11 and a living room that is 14 feet long and 10 feet wide. Shame on the developer’s of Mercedes House!!!
