Alternative rocker Courtney Love’s former West Village townhouse rental — from which she was nearly evicted — has undergone a price cut and a broker change, Curbed reported. Stribling & Associates’ C.B. Whyte now has the listing with a $9.6 million ask, down from the original $11.4 million price tag.

Located at 250 West 10th Street and dubbed the Bond Merchant house, the 3,000-square-foot home has been on the market since 2011 with a collection of brokerages, including Halstead Property, the Corcoran Group and Douglas Elliman.

Elliman appears to have had the last listing with a $9.8 million ask, according to StreetEasy.

The 25-foot-wide home includes hardwood flooring and six fireplaces, plus six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, the listing says. The property last sold in 2010 for $7.6 million. [Curbed]Zachary Kussin
