UPDATED, 10:37 a.m., Feb. 18: The five-bedroom penthouse atop Cassa NY, on the market with various asking prices since October 2010, has slashed its most recent $20.33 million asking price to $18 million.

The 3,145-square-foot pad at 70 West 45th Street, which boasts a suspended dining room table, city skyline views and spa bathrooms with roomy soaking tubs, is listed by Lenny Sporn, Ariel Tavivian, Yair Tavivian and Noam Gottlieb of Douglas Elliman. The Corcoran Group’s Carrie Chiang was previously the listing agent for all three penthouses at the Cassa Hotel and Residences, until the Elliman team took over in September of last year.

The unit was even listed for rent for $60,000 a month in November 2012, but the stubborn apartment hasn’t gotten any traction, Curbed reported. [Curbed]Julie Strickland
