Fashion designer Zac Posen is moving his headquarters from Tribeca to Midtown East

Posen has signed a nine-year lease for 15,200 square feet at Cohen Brothers Realty Corporations’ 3 East 54th Street between Fifth and Madison avenues, the Commercial Observer reported.

Marc Schoen and Brian Neugeboren of Savitt Partners represented Posen. Cohen Brothers’ Marc Horowitz, who represented the building’s ownership, said the location was key for Posen.

“Our building is ideally located near boutiques and major department stores where Zac Posen’s luxury apparel and accessories are sold,” Charles Cohen, president and CEO of Cohen Brothers, said in a statement.

Investment and development company HAP Investments also recently signed a lease at the building, the Observer reported. Asking rents for Posen’s and HAP’s spaces were around $50 per square foot, according to the Observer. [NYO] Tom DiChristopher
