Breaking hipster news: Gavin McInnes, one of Vice Magazine’s co-founders, is listing his Williamsburg corner penthouse for almost $2.5 million.

The three-bedroom, 1,300-square-foot apartment has 10-foot ceilings and comes with two terraces that offer views of the Empire State Building, the World Trade Center and the island’s connecting bridges.

McInnes, once dubbed the “the Godfather of hipsterdom,” bought the condo at 80 Metropolitan Avenue in 2011, paying $1.15 million, Curbed reported. The 123-unit, five-story building, developed by Steiner Studio, is a short walk from Vice Media’s headquarters at 90 North 11th Street.

Halstead Property’s Jay Overbye and Caroline Freedman have the listing.

The media figure founded Vice in 1994 with Shane Smith — who paid $2.2 million for a Tribeca loft in 2009 — and Suroosh Alvi. McInnes left in 2007 and is now something of a professional provocateur, appearing frequently on Glenn Beck’s television network, TheBlaze TV. [Curbed] — Dusica Sue Malesevic
