It’s not every day that celebrities and affordable housing developers cross paths, but then again, anything can happen during fashion week. Kylie and Kendall Jenner have moved into the Tribeca penthouse of L+M Development’s Ron Moelis, a source tells The Real Deal.

While it has been reported elsewhere that Kylie and Kendall purchased the newly built penthouse at 15 Leonard Street, the source confirmed that they are in fact renting the penthouse from Moelis. The Jenners could be paying as much as $28,000 a month for the unit, however, broker Susan Green of Town Residential declined to confirm the price.

Moelis paid $7 million for the sponsor unit this summer. The five-bedroom, 4,574-square-foot penthouse had been on the market for $18.5 million.

While renting the penthouse, Kylie and Kendall “brought their friends back to celebrate fashion week and got stuck in the elevator,” the source told TRD.

The triplex unit features powder rooms, a private parking spot and six terraces with 1,577 square feet of private outdoor space.  One of those terraces is connected to Taylor Swift’s apartment, sharing a wall. The furniture in the penthouse is by Kardashian-favorite RH Modern.
