Matt Lauer is having a no good, very bad week. Right after his widely lambasted performance moderating a forum between the two leading presidential candidates, the NBC anchor slashed the price of his Noyack home by $1 million. Now asking a shade under $17 mllion, the 25-acre estate at 2301 Deerfield Road spans two lots, including 10 acres of land for building. Designed by architect Daniel Romualdez, the 8,000-square-foot residence has six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. It also features a great room with barn beams, a heated gunite pool, a tennis court and hand-painted wallpaper. Lauer listed the Sag Harbor home on the heels of purchasing Richard Gere’s massive North Haven compound for $36 million in July.  [Curbed] — Cathaleen Chen
