Itzy Garay, Town Residential’s former executive vice president of sales and leasing, is now at Halstead Property.

Garay will serve as executive director of sales for the company’s Park Avenue office, responsible for the day-to-day management of the office alongside executive vice president and managing director John Wollberg.

Garay was not immediately available for comment but Diane Ramirez, CEO of Halstead, said she hoped Garay and Wollberg would make “a winning team.”

Garay left her position at Town Residential in August.  A former manager at rental giant Citi Habitats, she’d been part of Town’s core management team since its inception in 2010. She headed up the company’s Astor Place office and oversaw the firm’s sales and leasing managers.

In a statement, Town CEO Andrew Heiberger wished Garay success in her new position.
