There were 18 contracts signed last week in Brooklyn’s luxury real estate market, split between nine houses, six condominiums and three co-ops.

The deals between April 9 and April 15 worth $2 million or more went for an average price of about $2.8 million, and the total contract volume was about $51.2 million, according to the latest report from Stribling & Associates. Two deals tied for the priciest contract at just under $4 million.

The first was a five-bedroom single-family home in Carroll Gardens at 32 Third Place that went for just under $4 million. The house spans 3,325 square feet with a landscaped front garden and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The other deal for just under $4 million was a penthouse co-op in Brooklyn Heights at 8 Old Fulton Street. The two-bedroom unit, which overlooks Brooklyn Bridge Park, spans 2,869 square feet and has a 400-square-foot roof terrace.

Last week’s luxury market saw slightly more activity than the week prior, when 14 deals were signed for about $42.5 million overall.

Other large deals in Brooklyn last week included a co-op in Park Slope for about $3.5 million, a house in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens for $3.2 million and a condo in Williamsburg for $3 million. – Eddie Small
