Real estate firm Rose Associates is moving its headquarters to 777 Third Avenue, where it has secured a sublease deal with Avon Products for just under 25,000 square feet.

The firm will take up the building’s entire sixth floor, and asking rent for the eight-year deal was $65 per square foot, according to the Commercial Observer. Rose Associates will be moving from its current headquarters at 200 Madison Avenue.

A Cushman & Wakefield team led by Dale Schlather brokered the deal for Avon, and Jeffrey Rosenblatt of Advisors Commercial Real Estate represented Rose Associates.

New Avon, the North American branch of Avon, moved from 777 Third Avenue to One Liberty Plaza last summer. However, the company still has 271,000 square feet of space at 777 Third Avenue. They cosmetics company previously subleased 50,000 square feet at the building to Epiq Systems and almost 99,000 square feet to Hospital for Special Surgery.  [CO]  – Eddie Small
