A garden apartment complex in Elmsford that sold to Ares Management for $101.3 million in July was the largest commercial real estate sale in Westchester County this year, the Westchester County Business Journal reported. The sale of 32 Nob Hill Drive was also the only nine-figure deal that took place in the county this past year, according to the outlet, which compiled a list of the 11 biggest commercial real estate sales of 2018. Second on the list was the $91 million sale of the Talleyrand Apartments complex in Tarrytown, followed by the $83 million sale of the Westchester Financial Center in White Plains. The list showed that investors “spent large sums of money on existing apartment towers and complexes,” the outlet reported. [WBJ]
