Fairfield County is home to four of the most expensive zip codes in the country, the Stamford Advocate reported. A new PropertyShark report found that 06878 in Riverside, 06870 in Old Greenwich, 06830 in Greenwich and 06807 in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich were four of the 100 priciest zip codes in the nation, according to the outlet. Last year, only the Greenwich and Riverside zip codes made it onto the top 100 ranking. Fairfield University professor Kathi Mettler told the outlet that Fairfield has experienced growth due to its “proximity to New York, as well as a number of New York-based companies relocating to the Stamford area.” [Stamford Advocate]
