The Upper East Side home of late fashion designer Kate Spade has found a buyer.

Public records show Shaila and Mamoon Zamir shelled out $5.8 million for the Lenox Hill co-op. Spade and her husband and business partner, Andy Spade, purchased the third-floor unit at 850 Park Avenue in 1999.

The home spans 3,000 square feet with three bedrooms, a corner library, a chef’s eat-in kitchen and a wood-burning fireplace.

Kate Spade was found dead in the apartment of an apparent suicide in 2018. Andy Spade put the co-op on the market in June, asking $6.35 million.

The couple had parted from Kate Spade’s eponymous brand in 1999, selling a controlling stake in the company to Neiman Marcus. Kate Spade later launched Frances Valentine, named after her daughter Frances Beatrix.

Randall Gianopulos of Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing. He and the buyers could not immediately be reached for comment.

Mamoon Zamir is a banker, according to his Linkedin profile. He and his wife, Shaila, previously purchased an apartment at 108 East 66th Street for $570,000, city records show. They were also the owners of a 9,000-square-foot home in the tony suburb of Rye, N.Y. The two are avid art collectors who’ve lent several pieces to New York City museums.
