Bill Rancic, winner of the first season of “The Apprentice” and his wife, entertainment news personality Giuliana Rancic, are selling their Gold Cost Victorian townhouse. And they’re looking to turn a hefty profit after extensive renovations on the 130-year-old home.
The couple has listed the property at 105 East Bellevue Place for $6.8 million. They bought the home four years ago for $2.1 million, according to the New York Post’s Page Six, which reported on the new listing.
The 8,000-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-bath mansion dates to 1886, and was gut renovated. Bill Rancic, who managed construction of Chicago’s Trump Tower after winning the reality show, oversaw the work.
Upgrades include radiant floor heating, a media room with cashmere-lined walls and two full-height wine coolers to go with a custom bar. It also comes with a heated, two-car garage and 24-hour valet service across the street. That’s in addition to a large back deck, and a separate roof deck with views of the nearby skyline.
Baird & Warner’s Laura Rubin Dresner has the listing.
The couple also owns two nearby restaurants, RPM and RPM Steak. [NYP] –Scott Klocksin
