Arcore Real Estate Group hires 3 from RKF to form new retail brokerage


The new ARC Real Estate Group will focus on tenant and landlord representation

The principals of Arcore Real Estate Group hired three veteran brokers from rival RKF and will form a new brokerage called ARC Real Estate Group.

Arcore founders Andy Robbins and Al Rodenbostel are teaming up with Anthony Campagni, formerly a vice president at RKF, to form the new group, the company said in a press release.

ARC Real Estate Group still will have a focus on retail real estate services, and the addition of Campagni and two of his RKF coworkers will bring an extensive list of urban tenant and landlord clients, the group said. The firm represents retailers and landlords in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.

Campagni will help the firm get into the urban retail development and services market, according to the firm. One of Campagni’s biggest deals was the recent relocation of Apple’s flagship store to its current riverfront location, and he represented Starbucks in its opening of a flagship store in the Gold Coast.

The new firm will have 12 employees, 10 of whom are brokers, and will be headquartered at 200 South Wacker Drive.

Joining Campagni in leaving RKF for ARC are Cooper Annenberg and Elan Rasansky.

The Chicago area has seen a number of brokerage repositionings in recent months, though most have been on the residential side.

This week, Vestra Preffered Realty and Newman Realty announced a merger, and last week, broker John Lawrence moved his Nickel Group to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Koenig Rubloff. The biggest brokerage deal of the year came in the spring, when Compass took over Conlon Real Estate in a blockbuster acquisition.
