Mark your calendars: These are Chicago’s top real estate events next week

Two real estate industry events are on the calendar next week.

On Tuesday, the Chicago Real Estate Council is hosting its Self-Storage Investment and Development Market Update event from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Bank Club, 500 North Kingsbury Street. RK Kliebenstein of Metro Self Storage will moderate the event, and a panel of the leading self-storage developers, including Mark Sullivan of Sullivan Goulette & Wilson, John Mengel of JSM Venture and Marc Boorstein of MJ Real Estate Services, will discuss the latest updates in the self-storage investment space.

On Wednesday, Bisnow is hosting its 3rd annual Multifamily Annual Conference Midwest event from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Zhou B Art Center, 1029 West 35th Street. The event will include discussion of innovative design and construction, leveraging new CRE tech, the rise of mixed-use development and more. Speakers will include John Rutledge of Oxford Capital Group, Rajen Shastri of Akara Partners and Alan Lev of Belgravia Group.
