Moceri + Roszak firmed up a proposal for a 25-story apartment building near Millennium Park, boosting the number of units from earlier plans for the property.

The Chicago firm plans 214 units and 6,400 square feet of retail on the current site of a parking garage at 50 East Randolph Street, according to Crain’s.

A marketing brochure released late last year by Baum Realty showed a building with 190 apartments.

The units would range from 550 to 2,600 square feet, with an average of 946 square feet, according to plans released Friday by Alderman Brendan Reilly (42nd).

The 296,000-square-foot building would not need a zoning change, but it still needs city approvals in order to comply with a lakefront protection ordinance.
