This week, condo sales on the Near North Side heated up Chicago’s icey luxury market. Four of the five priciest home sales in the city were on the Near North Side.

Overall, the five top home sales totaled $15.7 million, nearly twice the previous week’s combined dollar amount. It nearly matched the total for the first week of February, when sales for the top five came out to $16.4 million. That has been the high-water mark so far in 2020.

The top sale this week is a Lincoln Park home followed by the four Near North Side condos. One of those units is in Related Midwest’s One Bennett Park, among the priciest condo towers in the city.

Price and property details were found on Redfin, from Feb. 21 to 28.
