A Highland Park mansion that once belonged to Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen has a buyer.

The 10,000-square-foot estate, which Pippen owned from 2004 until 2021, last asked $2.7 million, or $270 per square foot, and is under contract, the Chicago Tribune reported. Ting Zhang of @properties Christie’s International Real Estate is managing the listing.

Set on nearly 3 acres at 3393 Old Mill Road, the two-story mansion includes five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, two primary bedroom suites, dual stairways leading to the second floor and laundry rooms on both levels.

The property, which Pippen and his then-wife Larsa purchased in 2004 for $2.23 million, or $223 per square foot, offers several other high-end amenities, including an indoor basketball court.

The home’s walkout lower level houses a wine cellar, eight-seat movie theater, rec room, playroom, and exercise room. Outside, the property offers an infinity pool, a spa, a waterfall, a waterslide and a large patio.

The home’s most distinctive feature is its indoor gym, which includes a basketball half-court. The gym previously displayed a large rendering of his Bulls uniform on the floor. That tribute has since been removed, but the space still maintains Bulls red-and-black padding on the walls, preserving a piece of the home’s connection to Chicago basketball history.

Pippen, who now lives in the Los Angeles area, sold the home in 2021 for $1.8 million to its current owners, who listed the property in December 2023 for just under $2.7 million. The price was later reduced to $2.65 million before going under contract on Sept. 24.

The sale of Pippen’s former residence coincides with news that Michael Jordan, Pippen’s teammate during the Bulls’ six championship runs, has also found a buyer for his Highland Park mansion. Jordan’s estate, located at 2700 Point Lane, had sat on the market for more than 12 years, before going under contract last month for $14.85 million.
