Former Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine is parting ways with his Near North Side condo.

LaVine listed his full-floor residence for $6.9 million Wednesday after he was traded to the Sacramento Kings in February, the Chicago Tribune reported. The asking price pencils out to $1,533 per square foot.

The 4,500-square-foot unit spans the 28th floor of 9 West Walton, one of Chicago’s most exclusive residential towers. LaVine purchased the three-bedroom condo in September 2022 for the same price from former Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack.

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty agent Nancy Tassone has the listing.

Unit 2802 features a 750-square-foot wraparound terrace, complete with a hot tub and overhead heaters.

It has three and a half bathrooms, a 60-foot linear ventless fireplace and a living room outfitted with custom millwork. The kitchen is stocked with high-end appliances, including a steam oven and a 14-foot waterfall island.

The primary suite includes a sitting room and built-in bar, along with a bathroom featuring a TV-equipped dual shower and rain shower and a bathtub with a pop-up TV lift and champagne bucket. Heated floors and inlaid stone hallways fill out the package.

LaVine’s listing is the latest in a string of high-profile real estate activity at 9 West Walton. The tower has attracted a long list of athletes and business figures, including Ken Griffin, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Jason Heyward, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews.

Griffin previously purchased the top four floors for nearly $59 million, and Pritzker acquired the top two from him last year for $19 million.

The annual property taxes for Levine’s unit were listed at $129,361, and monthly HOA dues total $4,937, or more than $59,000 annually.

Luxury Chicago condos have been hot lately, particularly in the Gold Coast. Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams dropped $5.7 million on a unit at 65 East Goethe Street last summer, and the most expensive deal so far this year went down for a $10 million penthouse in the Elm and State building.
