The tremendous, 20,000-square-foot home is located in the Mayacamas Mountains on 653 acres. According to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the sale, French winemakers Alfred and Melanie Tesseron were the buyers of the property, though it is unclear whether they intend to build a winery there (they do plan to make wine on the 18.4 acres of vineyards, which has produced Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc wines). The property also has more than 100 olive trees, which can make 30-50 gallons of olive oil, according to the listing. [more]
