Johnny Galecki sells Hollywood Hills home at a $1.5M profit
UPDATED, 12:45 p.m., March 9:“Big Bang Theory” star Johnny Galecki just made big bucks on his Hollywood Hills bungalow.
The property sold for 25 percent above its listing price after dozens of bidders tried to elbow in, TMZ reports. Its new owners are fashion personalities Joe Zee and Rob Younkers, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Galecki’s 1,700-square-foot property on Sunset View Drive was listed for $1.995 million, and TMZ’s sources said it sold for $2.5 million.
Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland represented Galecki in the sale. Christopher Westley of Compass represented the buyer.
The bungalow, which has hardwood floors, a fireplace, two bedrooms and a media room, also sold for more than $1.5 million more than what Galecki paid when he bought the property from Patrick Dempsey for $982,500 in 2001.
