They may have “consciously uncoupled” nearly two years ago, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are finally putting some distance between them.

Martin, the lead singer of British rock group Coldplay, has sold the house he bought across the street the couple’s family home following their separation, according to property records spotted by Variety.

The rocker’s 7,700-square-foot, lower-Mandeville Canyon abode sold for $12 million, nearly double what he paid for it in 2013, about six months before he and Paltrow formally announced their divorce. He lived in the property in order to be close to his children, Apple and Moses.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom property had a motor court and a swimming pool complete with its own waterfall.

Martin and Paltrow’s real estate portfolio reportedly includes a mansion in London’s Belsize Park, a two-acre property in the Hamptons, a New York City penthouse that’s currently on the market and another home in Malibu’s Point Dume. — [Variety] Cathaleen Chen
