Hollywood bigwig Chris McGurk has sold his Beverly Hills mansion for $16 million.

The former COO of MGM and current CEO of digital content distribution company Cinedigm, McGurt has owned the estate for 20 years — he bought it for just under $3.8 million in 1996, Variety reported. Talk about a good investment.

Brett Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group was the listing agent in the off-market sale.

Located around the corner from the Beverly Hills Hotel, the double-gated manor sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre. The 10,600-square-foot house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It features a double-height foyer with a curved staircase, an outdoor dining terrace and a tennis court.

The property will be majorly renovated in an 18-month overhaul by Los Angeles architect Richard Landry and designer Thomas Pheasant, according to Oppenheim. [Variety]Cathaleen Chen
