Football star Keyshawn Johnson makes quick profit on Santa Monica Mountains parcel

Former New York Jets wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson recently sold a 12-acre lot in the Santa Monica Mountains for $1.2 million, a tidy profit over the $900,000 he paid for it just last year.

Located within the gated community of Abercrombie Ranch Estates, the property sits at the end of a cul-de-sac between Calabasas and Monte Nido and features sweeping views of the surrounding alpine landscape.

Marc and Rory Shevin of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties were the listing agents, while Brooks Realty’s Jacqueline Brooks represented the buyer.

Johnson, 43, played 11 seasons in the NFL. He is also a former ESPN analyst.
