Sofia Coppola fans, take heed: The house once rented by Lindsay Lohan when she was robbed by the infamous Bling Ring is now on the market.

Currently owned by “Days of Our Lives” actor Galen Gering, the 2,205-square-foot pad in the Hollywood Dell neighborhood has an asking price of $1.7 million.

Built in 1927, the Spanish Revival-style abode was etched into the canon of pop culture history in 2009 when its then-tenant, America’s once-favorite redhead, Lohan, was burgled by a group of Calabasas teenage thieves that targeted celebrities. Dubbed the Bling Ring in the chronicling of the events by journalist Nancy Jo Sales, the adolescent convicts later became the ever-so-glamorized subject of Sofia Coppola’s film, “The Bling Ring.”

With three bedrooms and four bathrooms, the gated property features a spacious living room, Juliet balconies, a sun porch and views of the canyon. Through French doors, the dining area opens up to a terrace outside, where there’s also a hot tub and multiple verandas.

Records show that Gering bought the house in 2000 for $754,000. Acme Real Estate’s Cari Field has the latest listing. [Variety]Cathaleen Chen
