Ellen DeGeneres sells same Hollywood Hills home for the second time

Calvin Klein co-founder Barry Schwartz may be buyer of $9.9M property

Chat show queen Ellen DeGeneres, notorious for her house flipping, has actually now sold the same Hollywood Hills West home twice.

Her latest deal, for $10 million,is for a two-acre compound she first sold in 2007 to Allison Milgard of Milgard Manufacturing for $10 million. She bought it back seven years later for under $8.8 million. Earlier this month, she sold it again in an off-market deal, this time for $9.9 million.

The buyer is rumored to be Calvin Klein co-founder Barry Schwartz, the Los Angeles Times reported. Records show that tax documents for the property will be sent to a horse farm owned by Klein’s longtime friend and business partner.

The 4,000-square-foot abode was built in the 1950s, but has been redesigned by L.A.-based architecture firm Marmol Radziner. The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home also features walls of glass, vaulted wood ceilings and an open living area. [LAT]Cathaleen Chen
