Pistol Pete has scored another ace with the sale of his Brentwood home.
Retired tennis legend Pete Sampras unloaded the property for $7.25 million — $1.65 million more than what he paid for it in 2009 — to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, Variety reported.
Still, the 6,900-square-foot residence went for well below Sampras’ initial ask of $8.9 million, as The Real Deal reported in July.
Sitting at the end of a cul-de-sac, the home is nestled among trees and has six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and an open floor plan. In the backyard, there’s a dining terrace with a grilling station, a swimming pool and a fireplace.
The 14-time Grand Slam winner now lives in Bel Air in a home that he acquired for $9.5 million in 2014. [Variety] — Cathaleen Chen
