J.J. Abrams drops $6.3M on Pacific Palisades home

The force is strong in the Pacific Palisades.

Hollywood director, producer and writer J.J. Abrams picked up another home in the area for $6.27 million, or $1,495 a square foot.

The director of the box-office hit “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” snagged the 4,199-square-foot home on Latimer Road in an off-market deal, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The seven-bathroom, five-bedroom house sits on more than half an acre.

Abrams and his family have been longtime residents of Pacific Palisades.

The Hollywood veteran and two-time Emmy Award winner owns an 8,030-square-foot home in the Palisades’ exclusive and gated Riviera community, which includes the Riviera Country Club. He purchased the property in 2014 for $14.5 million, according to property records.

Abrams is the creator of TV shows “Felicity,” “Alias” and “Lost.” He also directed the films “Super 8” and “Star Trek.” [LAT]Subrina Hudson
