The former Hollywood Hills home of comedian Jerry Seinfeld is one of four adjoining lots being shopped as a pocket listing with a total asking price of $40 million.
Located in the Bird Streets, the property consists of four separate parcels that add up to nearly an acre of land.
Seller Leslie Peter Benzies, the lead developer for the video game series “Grand Theft Auto” and the former president of Rockstar North, intended to tear down the former Seinfeld home and guest house to build a 15,010-square-foot mansion and 6,100-square-foot guesthouse, the Los Angeles Business Journal reported.
Designs by architecture firm Vantage Design Group for the eight bedroom, 11 bathroom home have already been filed with the city, but permits are still pending. If approved, the buyer could proceed with the plans, according to the Journal.
Seinfeld’s former 5,900-square-foot home at 9444 Sierra Mar Place has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The lot at 9432 Sierra Mar Place has a 1,600-square-foot guest house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that can be purchased separately for $5.9 million, according to listing details.
