Not all is well in paradise — at least not for Johnny Depp. As his legal dispute with his former management company hit the courts last week, it became clear that one of his Los Angeles homes had been seized. The rest of the week’s celebrity real estate chatter was much brighter in tone — buys, sales, and listings galore — especially in the Hollywood Hills.

Jeremy Piven bought a new pad in Hollywood Hills West for $6.8 million — and it’s decidedly big enough for his whole entourage. Spanning 4,800 square feet, the hilltop abode in Mount Olympus features an open-plan living area, a center-island kitchen, a floating staircase, four bedrooms, and five bathrooms. Sally Forster Jones, Aaron Kirman and Alek Carrera of John Aaroe Group shared the listing. Jonathan Tan of Ko Tai Realty represented the buyer, the MLS shows.

Nearby, Katy Perry, on the heels of her triumph in closing on an eight-acre former convent, is now shopping her two-house estate in a whisper listing. She’s asking about $15 million for the four-acre spread in Runyon Canyon Park. The two homes — one contemporary and another a Mediterranean villa — total 7,000 square feet. She bought them for a combined $11.2 million in 2013 in off-market deals.

Also in the Hills, a sweet, sugar, candy house is up for sale: Broker Jason Oppenheim redeveloped the former home of Sammy Davis Jr. and put it up for sale for $8 million. Oppenheim bought the property on Evanview Drive for $2.7 million. In collaboration with architect Jhoiey Ramirez, he stripped the 1987-built modular-style home to the studs and expanded the interior space. In addition to its open-style living, the three-bedroom home has another interesting feature: a conversation pit inside the swimming pool. Oppenheim also has the listing. In addition to being for sale, it’s available to rent, fully furnished, for $49,000 a month.

First Rob and now Kylie? The Kardashians seem to be on a selling spree in Calabasas. Kylie Jenner is rumored to be in the process of selling her Oaks development home. The 5,100-square-foot house on Prado de Oro is listed for $3.3 million. Jenner bought the Tuscan-style six-bedroom for $2.6 million in 2015 and then renovated it. Tomer Fridman of Compass has the listing.

Finally, Johnny Depp’s legal situation seems to be getting more and more dramatic. The property that was seized from him was used as a collateral for a $5 million loan in 2012, according to his former management firm. Foreclosure proceedings on the estate began last year. In his countersuit, Depp is seeking $25 million in damages for negligence and mismanagement. Depp owns five homes in the Hills, as well as three remaining penthouse lofts in the Eastern Columbia Building, out of five that he listed last year.
