From TRD Los Angeles: Alanis Morissette has one hand in her pocket “and the other one is giving a peace sign” to her longtime Brentwood home.
The singer and songwriter purchased the Mediterranean-style abode in 1996 for $1.8 million, a year after the release of her famous album “Jagged Little Pill.” She recently listed it with an asking price of $5.5 million.
The 5,152-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The two-story property has a chef’s kitchen with a curved island/bar, a library and an office. It sits on a more than half-acre Lot With An Outdoor Swimming Pool And Sports Court, according to the L.A. Times.
