Actor and comedian Ray Romano is soaking up the Venice sun at a renovated “modern farmhouse.”
The “Everybody Loves Raymond” star purchased the 1,863-square-foot home for $2.1 million last month, paying $110,000 over its asking price of $1.9 million.
The single-story residence has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a separate den, Variety reported.
French doors in the master bedroom lead to a deck and a grassy backyard. There’s also a laundry room that’s connected to a two-car garage, according to Variety.
Mark Kitching of Partners Trust had the listing. Susan Roth of Teles Properties represented the buyer.
Romano, who has won three Emmys and appeared in this year’s romantic comedy “The Big Sick,” owns a nearly 10,000-square-foot home in Encino. In 2004, he also paid $8.5 million for an oceanfront compound on Malibu’s Broad Beach. [Variety] — Subrina Hudson
